Love, Loss & Letting Go

Mindful Bardō is a mindful meditation support and practice group that I began to envision 9 months after losing my husband of 25 years. I wanted to use my skills in adult learning and mindfulness to help others navigate the grief and transformation associated with the loss of a significant other– either to death or divorce. While these two experiences are unique, they both catapult us into grieving and force us to let go of a familiar identity and create a new life. Many would argue that these experiences are entry points into the dark night of soul.

Mindful Bardō is a non-professional fellowship and learning forum for healing and renewal. I believe that when we open ourselves up to others who understand grief and make a daily commitment to practice mindfulness meditation, we can transform loss into a deeper awareness of love.

The purpose of this group is to help:

  • Relieve suffering and loneliness
  • Raise self-awareness
  • Reduce stress and anxiety  
  • Renew/ or build trust
  • Establish new habits and routines

To start, I am offering 7 weekly, on-line, facilitated sessions beginning Saturday, January 9, 2021:

  • Small, inclusive, on-line group using Zoom
  • Accountability partnerships and interactive activities
  • Suggested assignments/readings between sessions
  • Convenient Saturdays, 2 hours, 11:00am EST-1:00pm EST
  • Dates: January 9, 16, 23, 30 and February 6, 13, 20
  • Affordable, only $20 a session
